Last May, I decided to change my dancing partner and start with another one. He is called David, and now we are competing in competitions together.

I hope your Christmas will be PERFECT, because I'm sure that you want to rest, stay in with family, meet friends, buy presents, have dinners with them...

I love Christmas because I'm always remember the things that happened the last year, and the relatives who already are not, and I supose that you too.

I can remember how started 2008 for me. I was always saying: new year, new life...

I began the new year, starting school again and meeting friends. I also start the competitions of dance with a lot of energy. I was very happy!

Months later it was my birthday. It was very funny. I was in home when a friend phoned me to congratulate me and tell me if I wanted to go to her house. I wanted to go so I went. When I arrived she told me the way that I had to walk and I walked. We went to her swimming pool and when we arrived... there were all my friends making to me a surprise party in the swimming pool with music, food, drinks, presents and the swimsuit! I was very amazed. I couldn't belive it! It was the best birthday party I had in my life. I never forget it!

On the 5 of August morning, I was going to the airport wit my parents, my aunt and my cousin and three more friends. That day I caught a plane adressed to Guatemala. I spent 16 days there! It was fantastic and I learnt a lof of their culture.

On the 15 of September I started school, a new course. I met friends I also sarted dancing again.

Now, it's coming Christmas, and I'm going to make the same things like all the years. I'll buy a lot of presents, I'll be a lot with family and friends and I'll rest a lot!

I hope next year will be OK! Also for you!

Living with a disability

My name's Susan and I've been in a wheelchair since I had an accident. I was twelve years old. It happened when I was coming home. It was raining and I was crossing the street. A motorbike appeared at the end of the street. It was going very quickly. I didn't have time to react, and the motorbike didin't stop. I can't remember anything else. I only know that I woke up in a hospital, and I had to learn to use a wheelchair.
Now I'm working in a office. People are always helping me and I haven't got any problems with anybody. I think that my life is not like before, but I'm OK. I have to go in a wheelchair because in the accident I lost my feet and the operation wasn't successful. I can't walk but I can move my legs.
Sometimes people look at my feet and I feel bad because that is something that annoys me a lot. But there are a lot of people that are very nice with me and if I need something they always help me.

My life

I was born in Sant Cugat, on 25 of June of 1993. I lived in a little flat when my parents decided to moved to a big house. I can remember the best moments with my best friend Andrea. Before we borned, our mothers were best friend too. I also remember that a teacher in daycare confused us because we had blond and curly hair. We went to the same school since I was seven, that my parents decided to change me to an other school. I went to a public school called Collserola, in Sant Cugat. Now I'm in Pureza de Maria doing the last year of secundary school.

I changed a little bit since I was a child. Now I'm more mature and I think a lot before do anything. I'm more funny now, but when I was a child I was very loving. Now I'm very shy, but sometimes, when I want to do something, I forget my shame and I actue. I dance since I was five years old, and now I'm fifteen years old. In that pictures there are me with to friends in a competition. In the right it's Miriam and in the middle it's Alba. I think that I 'm a good friend, because when someone need my help, I'm always there.

When I finish school I want to study architecture and ADE (business administration). I also want to work in Guatemala in a NGO called intervida. I knew that this summer when I went there. I think that if I study architecture and people there want, I could work for they, building houses, schools and more buildings. I think that's a good idea for help them.

Before I'm old I want to travel a lot and visit a lot of countries. I think that it's interesting for me.
